Based on a true story, Philip and Hanna are banned from practicing law in 1930’s Berlin. As the situation worsens, Philip offers Hanna a way out – a ticket to Cuba but she refuses to abandon her family. One night, Philp receives a mysterious phone call that changes the course of their lives forever.

Set Description: backdrop of Berlin cafe – painted Art Deco poster and period colours on walls and floor also supporting The Meiers and The Lowenfield’s living rooms. Minimal furniture including benches either side of the stage.
