Crazy Gary’s Mobile Disco
New Wimbledon Studio
Written by Gary Owen
A small town in Wales, three lads can’t shake their school reputations – the gimp, the geek and the bully. Their dream – to get the hell out. They each tell their version of events when their worlds collide one Saturday night.
As three separate monologues, the sparse set comprised of a crazy paved floor sectioned by different shaped slabs to reflect individual character traits with a suggestion of a road leading off into the distance. Along the walls of the studio space there was a frieze representing the Welsh valleys.
